Prescott Alums. Parents and Supporters Charlie Bomberger, '74, keeps close tabs on all things USNA in the Prescott area. Here's his latest: USNA Prescott had a Dining Out with wives on May 25th to celebrate USNA Commissioning Week so that "old tales shall be retold". Present for the picture: John Burkholder '73, Mike Samuels '67, George Sara '69, Bill Weiler and Skip Moyer '65, Juan Segovia '88, Charlie Bomberger '74. USNA Prescott is going strong and has a very strong presence at the Academy with 4 current midshipmen and a new plebe to be inducted this June. GO NAVY!
Wow! Coming to the end of another AcYear at the Boat School. 2 plebes '27 (Sarah Stovall and Callie Oryall) finishing up their harrowing plebe year and ready to climb Herndon, while the juniors '24 (Charles Longacre and Nicole Babbitt) are getting ready for their Ring Dance and moving on to 1/c year. Here's a couple of updates from our proud parents. The big news from Jane Kaiser who reports that son Charles '24 will be the 1st Regimental Commander during first set, first class year. By my count, that's 5 stripes which is probably more than all of us could collectively string together from 1/c year. It tells me that our school system here in Prescott is capable of competing with the best!
